Kathmandu/On March 19, China Media Group (CMG)’s Global Media Dialogue was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The event was co-organized by CMG Asia-Pacific and the Royal Academy of Cambodia.

Nearly 100 participants from the political, business, academic, and media circles of both China and Cambodia were brought together to engage in keynote speeches and panel discussions on topics such as China’s modernization, high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and the concept of a shared destiny between the two nations.

Session attendees acknowledged that China serves as a robust engine for global economic growth, and its modernization model presents new opportunities for development in countries like Cambodia. The Cambodian community eagerly anticipates collaborating with China to accelerate progress along the Belt and Road initiative.

On the event, CMG Asia-Pacific and the Royal Academy of Cambodia reached a cooperative intention to jointly release the “Outlook Report on High-Quality Belt and Road cooperation between China and Cambodia”. CMG
